We have set up ponds with different dimensions for controlled rearing of fish, mainly tilapia and catfish. Their food is also formulated and processed in the farm offering a cheaper option and an interesting experience to every farmer trained. Water drained from the ponds is rich in ammonia and used for crop watering. Azolla, an aquatic plant rich in protein is also grown in a pond. Farmers get hands-on skills from these trainings and are fascinated in this vital and speedily growing sector, essential to promote livelihoods and food security.
